We thought, as you’re all thinking of past summers and looking forward to your next holiday or break, that you might be thinking of what’s going on at ”Henrys”.
So, for all our friends and regular customers, we are going to let you into our eventful winter and spring life, and try to make it simple with a quick spiel:
This is going to be a hot summer and bbq’s galore again—I wish!!
Whilst Jo takes the bookings, sorts out the chart, and does all the chores of running a household, I get the exciting work!
Basically this year, (not mentioning any resolutions!!), I have many projects on the go or in my head, and these projects have deadlines using a calendar month. Sometimes I write a list, that becomes my daily ‘must complete’ list! Yes I bet you’ve all been there (new years resolutions) Well that’s normal for me every year. It’s seeing how far I can keep it going. Anyway with a bit of incentive and the whole world watching, and you now expecting at least one finished project-I cant go wrong! So here we go!.
 Project 1
The top camping field is having two new parking spaces, at the top.
For now though, wet weather has put a stop to that!

 Project 2
‘The big weed’, as every year, starts January.
Every pitch is weeded thoroughly once a year trimmed and some new plants added. Weeding consists of removing what I call weeds such as nettles, docks, brambles, and grass, and every other weed is welcome. That overhaul takes me an average of 2 hours a day until March 1st, after that everything grows like mad. |
Project 3
I’m in the process since Christmas, of revamping our website. Its been very successful over the years, but a change is needed.
This will happen gradually over the next few weeks - there is a deadline and it’s soon!! |
